Common questions

Where is my data?

On your device, private to you. SquadLamp doesn't copy it anywhere on its own. To keep a safe copy, or to move to a new phone, make a backup file.

How do I back up my data?

On the home screen, open the menu and tap Back up to a file. SquadLamp creates one file with your teams, players and finished games, then opens your phone's share sheet so you choose where it goes: Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, email or AirDrop. Saving it to a cloud drive or emailing it to yourself keeps a copy even if you lose the phone. The backup doesn't include a game that is still in progress. Back up again whenever you want a fresh copy.

How do I restore, or move to a new device?

Install SquadLamp on the new device, open the home screen menu and tap Import games, then pick your backup file. It works between iPhone, iPad and Android. Importing never deletes anything already in the app.

The backup file contains your players' names and notes, so keep it somewhere private.

How do I cancel SquadLamp Pro?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

I deleted a game by mistake

Deleted games stay in the Recycle bin for 7 days by default (adjustable in Settings, up to 30).
